The key ingredient, as suggested by its name, is called <em>rabodi<\/em> which is essentially <em>papad<\/em> soaked in butter milk. The <em>papad<\/em> could be either <em>besan <\/em>(gram) or <em>makka<\/em> (corn) based. <em>Rabodi<\/em> is prepared at homes across Rajasthan and is also available for purchase from ration stores. This delicacy is a vegetarian dish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The quantity&#8217;s given below are sufficient for 2 people<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ingredients of Rabodi ki Subzi\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">20 ml Oil<br \/>\n25 gm Onion<br \/>\n20 gm Tomato<br \/>\n5 gm Jeera<br \/>\n5 gm Red Chilli Powder<br \/>\n4 gm Salt<br \/>\n4 gm Coriander<br \/>\n4 gm Turmeric<br \/>\n100 gm Spring Onion<br \/>\n50 gm Rabodi<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds<\/li>\n<li>Once the cumin seeds start to sizzle, add onion to the pan. Saut\u00e9 the onion but do not let them become overly brown<\/li>\n<li>Add spring onions and add all the spices<\/li>\n<li>Cook for 2-3 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Add tomato to the pan along with some water (depending on thickness of gravy desired) and the Rabodi<\/li>\n<li>Cook for 8-10 minutes till desired gravy thickness is achieved<\/li>\n<li>Best served with Tawa Roti &amp; Rice<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rabodi ki Subzi is a traditional yet lesser known preparation from the kitchens of Rajasthan.
