Papad Ki Subzi needs very few ingredients and has a flavor that is distinct and fabulous.<\/p>\n<p>Easy to make and great for days when we don\u2019t have a whole lot of vegetables in the refrigerator to work with. It tastes great with chapattis.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ingredients of Methi-Dana Papad ki Subzi:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>100g Dry Fenugreek seeds &#8216;<em>Methi<\/em>&#8216;<\/li>\n<li>2 nos Papad<\/li>\n<li>2g Chopped garlic<\/li>\n<li>1g Cumin seeds<\/li>\n<li>8g Chaat Masala<\/li>\n<li>3g Lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>1 pinch Asafetida 1 ( Hing)<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>10g Curd<\/li>\n<li>3g Red chili powder<\/li>\n<li>20g Onion<\/li>\n<li>10g Tomato<\/li>\n<li>2g Coriander powder<\/li>\n<li>1g Turmeric powder<\/li>\n<li>4g Chopped coriander<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Soak the Methi (Fenugreek seeds) overnight to remove its hardness<\/li>\n<li>Prior to use, it is also recommended to boil the Methi (Fenugreek seeds) for 30 minutes to avoid its bitterness<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds to check temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Once the cumin seeds start to pop, add a pinch of asafetida followed by onion and garlic.<\/li>\n<li>Saute&#8217; this combination for 1-2 minutes. Wait for the onion to take a brown shade<\/li>\n<li>Add the Methi (soaked and boiled) along with the whole spices, tomato and curd to this mixture and mix well<\/li>\n<li>Last, add lemon juice and papad and cook for 1 minute<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with coriander before serving.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with chapati\u2019s.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8216;Papad ki Subzi&#8217; is a staple food in many Marwari homes; however, this version hails from the Mewari region of Rajasthan and hence has a twist of Methi Dana and Khada Masala to it!
