Chittorgarh Fort, the pinnacle of Rajput chivalry, is the largest and best known fort in India. It is mere 60 kms to the south-east of Ranakpur. It has a beautiful ancient temple devoted to goddess kali, Kalika Mata Temple.<\/p>\n

The famous Parshuram Mahadev Temple is also only 14 km from Sadri Village enroute Ranakpur to Kumbhalgarh. It is said that Parshuram, Lord Vishnu\u2019s sixth manifestation, made the cave himself with his axe to worship lord Shiva in the serene foothills of the Aravalis. The cave has naturally formed figures of Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva and also has nine kunds or ponds which never go dry.<\/p>\n
