They are known for their precise and beautiful use of marble. These temples are an important pilgrimage in the Jain community, as not only can one marvel at the opulent architecture and beautiful statues, but also pray here. Puja facilities are provided, which include bathing facilities, mandatory for puja. Ambika Mata Temple (a temple to Goddess Durga) is located right outside Mount Abu town. Mount Abu town is also the spiritual headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris, and sees over 2 million visitors from this spiritual movement.<\/p>\n<p>Near the Mount Abu town is Welcome Heritage Connaught House, located within walking distance of the town of Mount Abu. It is also worshiped by locals. Nakki Lake is within walking distance of the local market, and also most of the hotels and restaurants. In the evening, the area comes alive with boating and picnics. Mountains and rock formations provide the perfect scenic backdrop to the lake.<\/p>\n<p>Near the lake is Toad Rock, known as the mascot of Mount Abu. The rock gets its name from its shape &#8211; it looks like a toad poised to jump into the lake.
