An old tank here is said to be situated on her wrestling ground.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ahirauli (Buxur): <\/strong>As per legend, a local temple of Devi Ahilya dates back to an ancient era, and that Ahilya became stone after a curse from her husband, the Rishi Gautam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ram Rekha Ghat (Buxur): <\/strong>Lord Ram Chandra and his brother Lakshman, and their guru Rishi Vishwamitra crossed the Ganga enroute the Sita&#8217;s swayambar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sita Kund (Munger): <\/strong>Said to be heated by the warmth of the fire in which Sita proved her honour, it is a hot spring at a village 6 km from Munger.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eco_Tourist_Circuits\"><\/span><strong> Eco Tourist Circuits<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With an aim to bridge the gap between tourists and nature, the Eco tourist Circuits cover the nature and environment-friendly tourist destinations across Kerala, Jharkhand, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The destinations include Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, Betla National Park and Koel River View Point in Jharkhand, Singotam Reservoir and Akka Mahadevi Caves in Telangana, Vagamon, Idduki and Thekkady in Kerala, Sirain, Tehri Lake and Chamba in Uttarakhand, Sailani Island, Gandhisagar Dam and Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, and Rawpuichhip and Berawtlang in Mizoram.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Water bodies, including lakes and rivers, which offer boating, fishing, water sports like rafting, and exploring marine life<\/li>\n<li>Sighting rare animals like tigers in its animal sanctuaries<\/li>\n<li>Camping, trekking and hiking<\/li>\n<li>Hospitality services at associated facilities, including lodges, Rest Houses and resorts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Desert_Circuit\"><\/span><strong> The Desert Circuit<a href=\"http:\/\/www.manahotels.in\/traveller\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/desert.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4905\" title=\"desert of rajasthan\" src=\"http:\/\/www.manahotels.in\/traveller\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/desert-300x208.jpg\" alt=\"desert of rajasthan tourist circuits\" width=\"350\" height=\"243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manahotels.in\/traveller\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/desert-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/manahotels.in\/traveller\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/desert.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The desert circuit refers to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourism.rajasthan.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tourist destinations in Rajasthan<\/a>. The Desert tourist Circuit will seek to not only promote current offerings, but also conserve the state&#8217;s historical monuments and enhance connectivity to tourist hotspots. A notable investment is the Sambhar Lake, which will soon offer a \u2018Salt Train and Dining Experience\u2019, a Salt Complex, an audiovisual show, a caravan Park, cycle track, dining, and night safari.<\/p>\n<p>A 50 crore mega desert circuit (Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Bikaner-Sambhar-Pali-Mount Abu), is also being developed. Key sites include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ayodhya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 Jain Thirthankaras were born here.
