Mana Hotels, based in Ranakpur, Rajasthan, continues to strengthen its engagement with the local community through a consistent set of initiatives focused on education, healthcare, food support, and animal welfare. These programs are internally funded and executed with the support of hotel staff, volunteers, and local stakeholders for community welfare purposes.
Education
In the area of education, Mana Hotels has adopted local government schools by sponsoring four full-time teachers on an ongoing basis. The hotel has also established and maintains a computer lab to facilitate digital learning for rural students.
Health Care
The hotel conducts an annual blood donation camp on Doctor’s Day (1st July), working with government hospitals and certified blood banks. Additionally, annual medical camps are held in remote villages to provide basic health check-ups and early-stage diagnosis for tribal communities and residents with limited access to medical infrastructure.
Seasonal Initiatives for Community Welfare
Ahead of the winter season each year, Mana Hotels carries out a blanket distribution drive, prioritizing elderly individuals and families living in poorly insulated homes in tribal and economically backward areas.
Nutritional Care
The hotel also runs a monthly food distribution program in downtrodden settlements around Ranakpur. Instead of dry rations, the distributions consist of fresh fruits, biscuits, or fully prepared meals, depending on seasonal needs and logistics. Beneficiary lists are coordinated with local NGOs and community representatives.

Animal Welfare
Mana Hotels has also implemented several animal welfare measures in and around the region:
- Construction of a watering hole near forested land to provide drinking water for wild animals during the summer months.
- Donation of rations to the forest department for the care and feeding of injured or vulnerable wildlife.
- Provision of reflective safety belts for stray cattle to reduce road accidents, especially on unlit rural roads.
Speaking on these initiatives, Mr. Vikas Bhati, Operations Manager, said:
“Hospitality for us is not limited to taking care of the needs of our guests. Our responsibility extends to the community surrounding us in Ranakpur. Although our impact is limited, we will continue to take one small step at a time to reach more and more people.”
Mana Hotels intends to continue building on these efforts in the coming years, with a focus on creating sustained and practical impact.
