Muchhal Mahavir Temple
Located in Rajasthan’s Pali district, this Jain temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavir. It is about 40 kms from Ranakpur and lies on the route from Falna to Kumbhalgarh.
Jirawala Village
About 70 km from Ranakpur is the Jirawala village. It is considered a holy place for the Jain community. Jirawala ‘s Parsvanatha temple dates back to 1134 AD.
Mandoli
Known for its Guru Shantivijay Surishwarji Jain temple, Mandoli village is about 140 kms from Ranakpur.
Kumbhalgarh Fort
Around 40 kms from Ranakpur is the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a Mewar fortress in Rajasthan. This World Heritage Site was built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, who is also responsible for the construction of the Ranakpur temple.
Ranakpur’s fame as a round-the-year tourist destination is due to its famous Jain Temple and the sightseeing options nearby. Many fairs and festivals are also held in the village.
You can get to Ranakpur via rail from the Falna Railway station, or by road from Udaipur.
