Ranakpur, Rajasthan – November 2026: The Ranakpur–Jawai Festival returns on 21 and 22 December 2026, bringing together culture, adventure, local traditions and winter travel in the Aravalli surroundings of Ranakpur.

Ranakpur–Jawai Festival traditions and performances

Organised by the Rajasthan Department of Tourism, the festival is one of the region’s distinctive annual events. It gives visitors a chance to experience Ranakpur beyond its best-known heritage attractions.

The programme traditionally features cultural performances and evening entertainment, with the open-air amphitheatre at the Sun Temple serving as one of the key venues.

Traditional competitions, nature activities and hot air ballooning have also been part of the festival programme.

December’s pleasant weather makes it a good time for sightseeing and outdoor excursions. Visitors can combine the festival with a visit to the Ranakpur Jain Temple, a stop at Ranakpur Dam and a wildlife safari in the wider Jawai region.

Mana Hotels’ two-night Ranakpur Festival package

To coincide with the festival, Mana Hotels has introduced a two-night Ranakpur Festival package starting at ₹17,500 for two adults. It includes accommodation, breakfast, high tea and dinner, along with selected festival experiences such as hot air balloon rides, a jungle safari, a music concert at the Surya Mandir, a Rajasthani horse show and entertainment for children.

“The Ranakpur–Jawai Festival is one of the best opportunities in the year to experience the destination at its liveliest,” said Mr. Dheeraj Jain, Marketing Manager, Mana Hotels. “It brings together culture, local traditions, adventure and the natural beauty of the region, giving visitors several reasons to stay longer and explore more.”

The package is valid for two-night stays with check-in from 20 to 22 December 2026. Pricing varies by room category.

“The festival period creates a very different atmosphere in Ranakpur,” said Mr. Rajveer Singh, F&B Manager, Mana Hotels. “Guests are able to enjoy the cultural programmes and outdoor activities during the day, while also returning to a relaxed resort environment for dining and leisure in the evening.”

The festival showcases the culture and heritage of the Pali region. Travellers can build a winter itinerary around the festival, with time for the Jain Temple, Ranakpur Dam, the Aravalli landscape and a trip to nearby Kumbhalgarh. For more ideas, see Rajasthan Tourism’s guide to Pali.

Planning a visit to the Ranakpur–Jawai Festival

The Ranakpur–Jawai Festival takes place on 21 and 22 December. If you want to attend both days, a 20 December check-in gives you time to settle in before the festival opens. A 21 December check-in lets you stay through both festival nights. If you arrive on 22 December, plan around the final day’s programme and use the following day to explore Ranakpur.

Leave some room in your itinerary for the places you most want to see. You could spend part of the day at the Ranakpur Jain Temple or Ranakpur Dam and keep the evening free for cultural performances. If a safari is high on your list, set aside a separate slot so you have time to travel to and from the wildlife area without rushing to the next event.

Before booking, check the package inclusions for your dates and room category. Confirm the timing and availability of individual activities with Mana Hotels, especially the balloon ride and safari, so you can plan sightseeing around them. If you’re travelling with children, ask which activities are suitable for their ages.
