Mount Abu is home to several colonial legacies that the British utilized in this summer capital; post-independence local royals had at their disposal. Connaught House as the name suggests has imperial footprints though of a smaller note; this bungalow was later acquired by Indian royals that transformed this home into a heritage hotel. Untouched by contemporary and modern designs, the dining room for guests dons the 19th-century adobes of an officer’s stateroom. We recommend the cottage room for an authentic experience of the historical kind. About ten minutes from the lake and other sights to see; traversing on foot from here to explore Mount Abu is all the good exercise you need!
