The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur – the Pink City has a lot to offer to the tourist. Along with the plethora of museums, forts and palaces, parks, and great shopping for semi-precious stones, Rajasthani handicrafts, and garments, Jaipur also offers a variety of ambiances where one can enjoy a hearty and delicious meal. If you were to eat all three meals in Jaipur, this is where we suggest you go:

Anokhi Cafe, Jaipur Breakfast @ Anokhi Cafe at Jaipur

The perfect café to visit in Jaipur, it’s simple and stylish and feels like a European café styled by an Indian designer. The menu has a great variety and everything from the drinks, salads, sandwiches, and confectionery is delicious. The owners take special care to make sure that the food is of the best quality, so much so that most of the ingredients are organic and come from the owner’s farm. For breakfast you should eat the bagels they are absolute to die for and even true New Yorkers rave about them! Anokhi Café is situated in KK Square, Prithviraj Road, C-Scheme, Jaipur.

Rambagh Palace, JaipurLunch @ Rambagh Palace

This royal palace was fondly called “The Jewel of Jaipur” and that is exactly what this uber-luxurious hotel is a Rajputana Jewel. The veranda overlooking the large lush green lawns makes a perfect setting to enjoy a beer and nice lunch. You can sample the Indian fare that will set you up for the day or for people looking for lighter lunch can go for their gourmet sandwiches. Rambagh boasts of an extensive beer and tea menu ensuring that there is something for everybody here. At Rambagh Palace, you can expect to be treated like royalty and it will be an experience that you will always remember. This awe-inspiring Taj Heritage Hotel is situated on Bhawani Singh Road, Jaipur.

Sharma Dhaba, JaipurDinner @ Sharma Dhaba

This Dhaba (shack) has grown from a small ‘sit-in-your-car-and-eat’ joint to the most famous Dhaba in Jaipur today, with a garden at the back and celebrities like Aishwarya Rai frequenting it.  You can enjoy mouth-watering vegetarian North Indian and Rajasthani food that’s made with utmost care and served hot to your table. The variety at Sharma Ka Dhaba is amazing but some of the all-time favorites are Gatte ki Sabzi, Dal Makhni, and Ajwin Paratha. Also, try the very unique Tandoori Mirchi and Pyaz and the Masala Papad is quite tasty too. Overall; really tasty and clean food, maybe a little pricey for a Dhaba but totally worth it! Sharma Dhaba is on Sikar Road, Vishwakarma Ia.
