Leopard Conservation

Mana Hotels is excited to announce the approval of the leopard conservation and tourism project in Desuri, Pali District. This initiative aims to protect leopards and enhance visitor experiences.

Desuri, known for its leopard population, is now developing a leopard conservation reserve. Currently, there are more than 25 leopards in the vicinity. The government has allocated two crore rupees in the state budget. Visitors on the Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh tour can witness leopards in designated sites within the five villages including Chhoda and Narlai.

As the reserve develops, it will benefit local communities through employment opportunities and attract more tourists. The safari and camp attractions will contribute to the region’s growth. The project demonstrates a promising future for wildlife conservation & promotion in Pali, Rajasthan. “Mana Hotels is committed to leopard conservation and enriching tourism in Desuri, Pali District,” said Mr. Dheeraj Jain, Marketing Manager at Mana Hotels.

Leopard tourism has been booming in Jawai, Rajasthan. This has already led to the development of a thriving wildlife tourism ecosystem in this area. “People from Gujarat, Rajasthan and even from as far as Delhi & Mumbai have been visiting Jawai to spot the leopard in the wild,” said Mr. Kishan Choudhary, Operations Manager at Mana Hotels in Ranakpur. The addition of the Desuri leopard conservation zone will only add to the attraction of wildlife tourism in Rajasthan which is already endowed with great tiger reserves such as the ones in Ranthambore & Sariska.
